Breaux Bridge - Kenneth P. Delcambre, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at AMG Park Place.
Kenneth was born December 29, 1946. He honorably served in the United States Army Special Forces as a Staff Sergeant and as a Green Beret from 1966-1972. He was an advocate for many soldiers and veterans.
A true historian of Breaux Bridge, Kenneth was named the President of the History Society of Breaux Bridge. He was an artist, musician, and local author of St. Martin Parish. For many years, he would place land markers and monuments about the city of Breaux Bridge's history.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and community.
He is survived by his son, Kahnan J. Delcambre (Callie); daughter, Traci Angers; grandchildren, Kahnan Delcambre, II, Reagan Delcambre, Bailey Blanchard, Briley Blanchard, Amelia Bernis, Alexandra, Mackenzie and Allison Angers; great grandchildren, Faith LaBorde, Kholstin Alexander, Carson Veillon and Shiloh Angers; brother, Richard "Dickie" Delcambre (Mary Beth); and one sister, Deborah Delcambre.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Joan Delcambre; father, Jessie Delcambre; mother, Geraldine Blanchard; grandchild, Skye Angers; and great grandchild, Grai.
