Kenneth 'Huff' Wayne Hoffpauir

A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00 PM unitl 8:00 PM, and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Pastor Nick Suire will officiate. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Kenneth Wayne "Huff" Hoffpauir was born on March 19, 1954 to the late Percy Sr. and Una Mae Bienvenue Hoffpauir. He was a 1975 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, and worked as a Honda Tech for J.P. Thibodeaux. He loved all things outdoors, especially camping, fishing, biking, and spending time with family and friends. Huff survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Katheryn "Katie" Berthelot Alleman; daughter, Chelsea Hoffpauir of New Iberia; step-daughter, Crystal Dupont and husband John of Krotz Springs; step-granddaughter, Briley Dupont of Krotz Springs; brothers, Percy Hoffpauir, Jr. and wife Monette of New Iberia, Donald Hoffpauir and wife Vinetta of Loreauville, and Gilbert Hoffpauir and wife Susan of New Iberia; sisters, Patricia Oubre and husband Dennis of Waco, TX, Priscilla Gary and husband David of New Iberia, Tessie Delahoussaye and husband Pat of New Iberia, and Christy Magar and husband Robert of Lydia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melissa Hoffpauir. Pallbearers will be Percy Hoffpauir Jr., Lance Hoffpauir, Tiger Hoffpauir, Craig Palmature, Bert Berthelot, Danny Romero, John Dupont, and Blue Vallian. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Hoffpauir, Gilbert Hoffpauir, Steven Oubre, Kevin Migues, and Kenneth LeBlanc.
