Kenneth Melvin Leavitt

New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at a later date for Kenneth Melvin Leavitt, 78, who passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016, in New Iberia. A resident of New Iberia, Mr. Leavitt was born February 22, 1938 and worked for Acme Refrigeration Company. He enjoyed helping people and playing Santa Claus every year. Survivors include his son, Kenneth Eugene Leavitt and wife Renee; daughters, Tammy Leavitt Dickerson, Karrie Leavitt Schlomer; grandchildren, Eric Leavitt, Kristin Leavitt; and 4 great grandchildren.
