Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, December 29, 2017, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Kenneth Lee Williams Sr., 48, who passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Friday. Rev. Samuel Fontana will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Latwana Wiltz and Beatrice Wiltz. Gift Bearers will be Corinanna Wiltz and Harmony Smith. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Williams enjoyed watching sports and wrestling, going to horse races, dancing, playing dominos, and cooking with his friends. He was known as a people person and cherished moments spent with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Anna Matthew Williams of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Kenneth Williams, Jr. of St. Martinville and Keilan Williams of Breaux Bridge; his brothers, Gaston Williams, Jr. of Lafayette, David James Williams of Breaux Bridge, Christopher Williams and wife Vanessa of Breaux Bridge, Patrick Lee Williams of Breaux Bridge, Mark Williams of Breaux Bridge, and Calton Ledet of Lake Charles; his sisters, Genora Constantine of Breaux Bridge, Shara Williams Wiltz of Cecilia, Valarie Sam and husband Willie Sam Jr. of Breaux Bridge, Tarlissa Chevalier of Arnaudville, Lisa John and husband Joseph of Arnaudville, and Garalyn Ngassa of Cypress Island; his aunts and uncles, Syble Williams of Opelousas, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Williams of Abbeville, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Williams of Lake Charles, and Mr. and Mrs. Russell Williams of Lake Charles. He was preceded in death by his father, Gaston Williams, Sr.; his brother, Germaine Williams; his niece, Courtney Barber; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Marita Sylvester Matthew; his paternal grandparents, Amos and Matilda Castille Williams; his uncles, Larry Williams, Thomas Williams, Francis Castille, and Amos Williams, Jr., his aunt, Lydia Delcourt, Helen Galltine, Mildred Batiste, and Annie Mae Williams. Pallbearers will be Donald Ray Noel, Joseph Thibodeaux, Boris Cormier, Latisha Semere, David Williams, and Gaston Williams III. Honorary pallbearers will be Gaston Williams Jr., Patrick Lee Williams, Christopher Williams, Mark Williams, and Calton Ledet.
