Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville for Kenry J. Quebedeaux, 64, who passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at his residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday.
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service.
Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum in Arnaudville.
Kenry was employed in the oil industry for 39 years. He was a retired Firefighter with the Arnaudville Volunteer Fire Department, where he selflessly dedicated his time for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Kenry enjoyed camping and hunting, and was a member of the Bally Hack Hunting Club. He was known to his family and friends as being a jokester. Kenry was a devoted family man and was always readily available to repair anything because he was a "Jack-of-all-Trades". He will be fondly remembered for his strength, compassion, and unconditional love for his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Arnette B. Quebedeaux; son, Kenry "KC" Quebedeaux; daughter, Miranda Quebedeaux (Phillip Hunter); grandchildren, Morgan Hunter, Hayden Quebedeaux, Luke Quebedeaux, and Aubree Quebedeaux; and brother, Roland Quebedeaux (Joanne).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Artus and Eula Mae Vitte Quebedeaux; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph "Bernel" and Blanche Quebedeaux; father-in-law, Dennis James Begnaud; and brother-in-law, Christopher J. Begnaud.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Hunter, Glenn Cormier, Eric Quebedeaux, Todd Guilbeau, Joby Stelly, and Billy Hunter.
Honorary pallbearers will be Al Cox, Roy Prejean, Jake Marks, Carl Marks, and Roland Quebedeaux.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville, 314 St. Landry St., (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
