New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Friday, August 26, 2016, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Kerry Paul Hebert, 58, who passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, in New Orleans. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Garrett Savoie will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Kerry was born on October 14, 1957 to Cyril Hebert and Doris Boutte Hebert. He was a 1975 graduate of New Iberia Senior High, and was the owner of Hebert Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and the co-owner of Hebert and LaBiche Properties. An avid Saints Fan, Kerry enjoyed playing hockey, traveling, eating, socializing, working, taking care of his customers, spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends, and also special moments with his wife. Survivors include his wife Rena Boudreaux Hebert of New Iberia; step mother, Nedia Doumit Hebert of New Iberia; daughters, Tara H. Harwell and husband Shane of Bremen, GA, Tiffanie N. Hebert and fiance' Joe Kaiser of New Iberia, Amber H. Prince and husband Blake of Youngsville; sisters, Debra H. Blackwell and husband Johnny of Lafayette, Wanda H. Fontenot and husband R.J. of Lafayette, Cindy H. Faughn and husband Kevin of New Iberia, Janet H. Smith and husband Terry of New Iberia; brothers, Edwin Hebert, Sr. and wife Stephanie of Baton Rouge, Tommy A. Hebert and wife Debbie of New Iberia, Darrell J. Hebert and wife Kim of New Iberia, Mark A. Hebert and wife Terrie of New Iberia; step brothers, Freddie Doumit, Jr. and spouse Kathy of New Iberia, Christopher Doumit and wife Donna of Loreauville, Steven Doumit and spouse Lori of New Iberia, Phillip Doumit and spouse Tammy of New Iberia, John Doumit of Youngsville; step sister, Mary Doumit Barrilleaux of New Iberia; step daughters, Brandi Charpentier and spouse Kevin of Jeanerette, Shea Breaux and fiance' Rocky Gros of New Iberia, Gabrielle Breaux of New Iberia; grandchildren, Tamara Harwell, Shane Paul Harwell, Paris Harwell, Gabrielle Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Trystian Baker, Treyton Baker, Brycen Prince; step grandchildren, Lelind Charpentier, Trevon Charpentier, Landon Breaux, Cruz Breaux, Montae Barthelemy, D'Vyne Barthelemy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; and previous wife, Ellen Picard Hebert.
