Rynella - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Kevin John Russo, 55, who passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in New Iberia. Rev. Eugene Tremie will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue Friday from 8:00 AM until 10:15 AM. Kevin was born on November 18, 1959 in New Iberia, and was a graduate of New Iberia Senior. He loved photography, gardening and cooking, and was a member of the Azalea Garden Club. He is survived by his wife, Myra Krepper Russo of New Iberia; parents, Yvonne Boudreaux Russo and Jasper Russo, Sr. of New Iberia, two daughters, Ashley Russo of New Iberia, Claire Russo of New Iberia; grandchildren, Tonilynn Penns of New Iberia, Tayten Russo of New Iberia, Taylor Russo of New Iberia; three brothers, Jasper Russo and wife Rhea, II of Dallas, TX, Bart Russo and wife Leslie of Texarkana, TX, Scott Russo and wife Sheryl of New Iberia; two sisters, Stephanie Derouen and husband Aubrey of New Iberia, Gina Manzona and husband Tom of Lancaster, CA; sister-in-laws, Sandra Gomez of Iowa, Susan Richards and husband Michael of WI; brother-in-laws, Mitchell Krepper and wife Penny of New Iberia, David Krepper of New Iberia; He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Whitney Krepper, Jr., father-in-law, Whitney Krepper, Sr., mother-in-law, Nettie Moss Krepper.
