Khamphouvieng Keohavong

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Rev. Dr. Khamphouvieng Keohavong, 67, who passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, in Youngsville. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8:00 am until 12 Noon. A resident of Youngsville, Rev. Keohavong was born on December 5, 1950 in Savannakhet, Laos. He was a man of God who loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart, mind, and strength. He was a great preacher/pastor and spiritual father for many Lao-Thai people, and other people around the world. Rev. Keohavong will be missed by many. Survivors include his wife, Khamsene Keohavong; son, Phanthakit Keohavong; daughters, Tiengkham Keohavong, Ko Keohavong, Dang Keohavong, Khamsouk Keohavong, and Khamsai Keohavong; mother, Lady Keohavong; sisters, Judy Thepsourivong, Phouthon Keohavong, and Khounmy Inthavongsy; brothers, Khamphet Ken Keohavong, Khamsing Keohavong, Detvixay Keohavong, Ounheuan Jack Keohavong, and Khampheng Keohavong;13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many brothers and sisters in Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Soudeon Keohavong, and two brothers, and one sister.
