Khom Riengxay

St. Martinville - A Christian Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville for Khom Riengxay, 84, who passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. A Temple Service will be conducted by the Monks at 1:00 pm on Thursday on April 12, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. Mr. Kearn Alan Dooley will officiate at the Christian Service. Interment will follow at Methodist Cemetery in St. Martinville. He is survived by his loving wife, Xa Riengxay; sons, Chome Riengxay and wife Phounsavanh of Glenmora, LA and Badame Riengxay and wife Nakkhaly of St. Martinville; daughter, Chanhome Bounpheng and husband Khamtanh of St. Martinville; and his grandchildren, Van Bounpheng, Peter Bounpheng, Malina Bounpheng, Junior Riengxay, Wiston Riengxay, Alyta Riengxay, and Jonathan Riengxay. He was preceded in death by his son, Jarm Riengxay; and his parents, Dor and Oun Riengxay. Pallbearers will be Van Bounpheng, Peter Bounpheng, Junior Riengxay, Wiston Riengxay, Jonathan Riengxay, and Dao Bounpheng.
