Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville for Kimberly Kay Alderman, 62, who passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospice.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:30 am until 9:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Pastor Corby will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.
Kim served as an active member of the Salvation Army Church as a young child. In adulthood, she had a love for jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. She was known for her green thumb and love of plants. Kim enjoyed her broad collection of movies and listening to music (especially, Elvis), which she passed on to her family. She opened her home to many people over the years; her home was the go-to place for everyone. Kim will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Roberts and husband, Jeremy, Penny Guidry and husband, Jimmy Arnaud, II, and Deedee Dugas; son, Thomas Guidry; sisters, Robin Knowles and Rhonda Lewis; brothers, Clark Alderman and wife, Kim, and Brad Alderman and wife, Starr; grandchildren, Robert Guidry, Keely Guidry, Tori Guidry, Tristan Dugas, Keirstan Dugas, McKennzie Dugas, Devin Guidry, Brodie Robin, Owen Guidry, Bailey Robin, Donavan Robin, Lainie Robin, Alyssa Robin and Landon Arnaud; great-grandchildren, Emmitt Peyres, Rylee Dugas, Evelyn Robin, and one on-the-way; and her former husbands, Dennis Hileman and Thomas Guidry and wife, Kathleen, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father, Merton Henry Alderman; mother, Daisy Roberta Griese; and grandchild, Leland Arnaud.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Guidry, Robert Guidry, Owen Guidry, Tristan Guidry, Bailey Robin, Donavan Robin, and Devin Guidry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Roberts, Jimmy Arnaud, II, Emmitt Peyres and Landon Arnaud.
