Henderson - A Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Kimlien Thi Nguyen, 46, who passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm on Thursday and continue until 8:30 am Saturday. Prayer Services will be held at 7 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016 and Friday, April 22, 2016 at the funeral home. Fr. Thien Sai will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers for the service will be her children. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Nguyen enjoyed going visit her hometown in Vietnam, shopping with her girls, and cherished moments spent with family and friends. She is survived by her loving spouse, Dung Phan of Henderson; sons, Michael Phan and Philong Phan both of Henderson; daughters, Lena Marie of Maurice, Linda Lou of Catahoula, Lillian Nguyen of Henderson, Lauren Nguyen of Henderson, Phiyen Phan of Henderson, and Phiphung Phan of Henderson; father, Thanh Nguyen of Henderson; brother, Tam Nguyen of Baton Rouge; and her grandchildren, Grayson Hollier, Carter Snelling, and Avah-Renee Snelling. She was preceded in death by mother, Dung Nguyen; and her father-in-law, Doan Phan. Pallbearers will be Raymond Navarro IV, Carl Snelling, II, Dylon Hollier, Michael Ngo, Justin Bartholomew, and Joby Marks. Honorary pallbearer will be Thanh Nguyen.
