Kirk Paul Guillotte

New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Kirk Paul Guillotte, 60, who passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2016, in New Iberia. Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. A native of Jeanerette, Kirk was born on August 26, 1956, and has been a resident of New Iberia since 1977. Kirk was a loyal, dedicated employee of Saia LTL Freight for over 36 years. He loved to be outdoors, and also enjoyed going to the camp to hunt and fish. Cutting grass for the neighbors was his great pleasure. Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Katherin "Kathy" LeBlanc Guillotte of New Iberia; son, Justin Paul Guillotte and fiance' Keisha Fage and her children and grandchild Alexis Marcantel, Peyton Fage and Kyren Sonnier all of New Iberia; daughter, Hannah Anne' Guillotte of New Iberia; brothers, Rodney Guillotte and wife Linda of Jeanerette, LA, Tommy Guillotte and wife Cindy of New Iberia, LA, Lynn Guillotte and wife Erlinda of Houston, TX; sisters, Agnes "Puppie" G. Lallande of Duson, LA, Paula G. Figueroa of New Iberia, LA, Debra Guillotte of Jeanerette, LA, Diana G. Olander of Lydia, LA, Toni G. Noyola and husband Julio of Lydia, LA. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul T. Guillotte, mother, Marjorie Guillotte, father-in-law, Irving P. LeBlanc, Sr., mother-in-law, Mary Lou LeBlanc, grandparents, Telesmar and Anna Guillotte, Claytus Derouen, Mary Lancon Derouen, brothers-in-law, Dennis Lallande, Leo Olander; nephews, Raymond Guillotte, Dennis Dugan; nieces, Denise Guillotte, Claudette Guillotte, and Tippie Broussard. Pallbearers will be Justin Guillotte, Rodney Guillotte, Tommy Guillotte, Irving "Buddy" LeBlanc, Henry Jumonville, and Lynn Guillotte. Honorary pallbearers include Kenneth Best, James Atwood, and the line of drivers at Saia LTL Freight. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Gene Brierre, Eric and staff of Lourdes Oncology Associates for the care and compassion shown to Kirk during the last three years.
