A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Arnaudville on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service.

Kirk was born on July 1, 1953, in Arnaudville. Kirk had a love for the outdoors, often found tending to his beloved garden, fig trees, and working on his property that has been in his family for over 100 years. Being outdoors wasn't just a hobby for Kirk; it was a way to connect with nature, share joy, and bring happiness into the lives of others.

He was always on the go, a whirlwind of activity, spreading warmth and kindness wherever he ventured. Kirk found great fulfillment in preparing plates of food, a simple act that brought people together.

A devoted churchgoer, Kirk cherished his faith, which guided him through life and inspired him to be a source of support for those around him. His commitment to his community was evident in his many acts of kindness and compassion, where he sought always to uplift others.

Kirk cherished the moments spent with his little best friends - his great nieces. His playful spirit and patience enveloped them in joy, as they played and created cherished memories together. These delightful interactions lit up his days with laughter and love, embodying the joy he found in family.

Above all, Kirk adored spending time with his son. Their bond was unbreakable, filled with shared experiences, love, and mutual respect. Each moment they spent together was a treasure, and it was in these quiet times that Kirk found great contentment.

He is survived by his son, John Hebert, Jr.; niece, Ashley Hebert Suter (Jonathan); brother, Gary Hebert; and his great nieces, Amelia Rogers and Camille Suter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Murphy and Henrietta Pelafigue Hebert; brother, Dale Hebert; and his nephew, Tyson Hebert.
