Kirk Alan Rodman was a blessing and a true friend to all who knew him. It’s difficult to put his kindness and generosity into words. A dedicated husband and father, he always provided for his family and was the core of the unit. The captain of the ship, he’d make sure no one went down, family or otherwise. He was such a reliable and dependable man; if he said he’d be there; he would be there, no matter the distance, time, or reason. Most of the time he was knocking on doors with breakfast ready to get started.
Kirk will always be remembered for his cheesy smile, loud laugh, and smart mouth. He was a kid at heart, but motivated and inspired others with his incredible work ethic and ambitious personality. He was his daughters’ role model. They’ve always tried to mold themselves after their Dad, because they respected him so much, and because they saw how much others respected him. Many others feel the same way and looked so highly upon him. That will never change.
He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea B. Boudreaux Rodman; daughters, Colleen Rodman and Jordan Rodman Dupuis and husband Logan, all of Breaux Bridge; parents, Larry Robert, Sr., and Susan Rodman of Marion, OH;
brother, Larry Rodman, Jr. and wife Elaine of PA; and his sister, Wendy Latiolais and husband Jamie of SC.
