Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Kristi R. Russ, 58, who passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm on Monday.

A rosary will be prayed at 1:30 pm on Monday.

Deacon Wynard Boutte will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum - No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Kristi was an avid traveler and she loved photography. She enjoyed spa days, online shopping, and spoiling her grandson, Noah. Kristi ran military family support groups, where she helped to serve thousands of military spouses throughout her husband's 32+ years of service in the Armed Forces. She supported others in their family emergencies, often at her own financial expense. Kristi was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Ron Russ; son, Ryan Boudreaux (Alina); daughter, Sarah Dunn (Ricky); grandchild, Noah Dunn; brother, Keith Richard (Laurie); and nieces, Ashley Gaubert (Trevor), Jessica Dennison (Matt), and Megan Krizmanich (Kyle).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine Mason Richard and Alvin Joseph Richard; and sister, Tracy (Todd) Thibodeaux.

Pallbearers will be Ron Russ, Keith Richard, Ryan Boudreaux and Ricky Dunn.
