Kylie Michelle Scrantz

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Kylie Michelle Scrantz, 15, who died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at her residence. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia. The readers will be Leslie Thibodeaux and Karen Alleman, and gift bearers will be her sisters, Krysta and Karlee Scrantz. Kylie was on the Student Council and served as the Vice President of the Freshman Class at Cecilia High School in Cecilia, LA. ?She enjoyed cheerleading, playing softball and shopping. Survivors include her father, Guy D. Scrantz of Cecilia; her mother, Jacqueline M. Bordelon of Lafayette; her brother, River Scrantz of Cecilia; her sisters, Krysta Scrantz of Lafayette and Karlee Scrantz of Cecilia; her paternal grandparents, Donna Bergeron of Cecilia and Donald Bergeron of Breaux Bridge; and her maternal grandmother, Mary Bordelon of Lafayette; She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ronald Scrantz, Sr.; and her maternal grandfather, Erick Bordelon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. ~ 11:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006; and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Tony Bergeron, Chris Scrantz, Buddy Scrantz, Jamie Bergeron, Guy Scrantz, Austin Tauzin, and Ryan Hargroder. Honorary pallbearer will be Sam Bella. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
