Leonville - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, October 22, 2010, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, for Lance Michael Richard, 22, who died on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville. Fr. Kenneth Domingue will officiate at the funeral service. Survivors include his wife, Chanell Melancon Richard; his daughter, Laikyn Richard; his parents, Shane J. and Arlene M. Olivier Richard; his sister, Chelsea Richard, all of Arnaudville; and his paternal grandmother, Jeraline S. Richard of Port Barre. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Eugene Richard; and maternal grandparents, Harold and Elaine Olivier. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a .m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8 a .m. until 10:15 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Pallbearers will be Robert Lanclos, Matthew Lanclos, Wade Thomassee, Brian Higginbothan, Corey Martin, and Lee Covington. Honorary pallbearers will be Carlo Olivier and Luke Pontiff, III Pellerin Funeral Homeof Arnaudvilleis in charge of arrangements.
