Larry Hebert

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Larry Hebert, 81, who passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at UHC.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 2:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 10:45 am.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday by Malorie Hebert.

Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.

Larry was a dredgeboat captain and driller in the oilfield for over 30 years. He also had a passion for crawfishing and loved to spend time working outdoors. Larry loved his family and his time spent with them, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was truly a jack-of-all-trades that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty T. Hebert; sons, Larry Hebert, Jr. (Deniece) and Ronnie Gerard Hebert (Lahoma Torregrossa); brothers, Harry Hebert (Bea) and Clarence Gerard Hebert; sister, Mary Ann Angelle; grandchildren, Howard L. Hebert, Clarence K. Hebert (Malorie), Kristin B. Angelle (Brooks), Cadianne Hebert (Nathan), Brittany Nicole Hebert and Skye R. Hebert; and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andy Leed Hebert; parents, Clarence and Alta Bergeron Hebert; sister, Margaret Madge Champagne; and brother, Allen Joseph Hebert.

Pallbearers will be Howard L. Hebert, Clarence K. Hebert, Brooks Angelle, Danny Champagne, Cody Champagne, and Beau Champagne.

Honorary pallbearers will be Damiyan K. Hebert and Dominic Hebert.
