Larry Joseph Peltier

Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, May 21, 2021, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Larry Joseph Peltier, 67, who passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Belle Teche Nursing Home.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 9:45 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday.Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Larry was known for his talent as a musician (guitarist) and enjoyed most types of music. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Larry will be remembered for his love and zest for life. He is survived by his son, Jude Peltier (Lynsey) of Cecilia; two grandchildren, Evan Michael Peltier and Noah Peltier; and two brothers, Ronald Peltier and Edward Peltier.He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Virginia Romero Peltier; son, Raymond "Ray" Peltier; and his brother, Steve Peltier. Pallbearers will be Jude Peltier, Ronald Peltier, Jason Peltier, Jeffrey Peltier, Edward Peltier, and Chet Peltier.Honorary pallbearers will be Noah Peltier, Evan Peltier, and Cory Peltier.
