Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 31, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Larry James LeBlanc, 64, who passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 1:30 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Sunday, followed by a Masonic service.
Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Rose Green and Jane LeBlanc. Gift bearers will be Brittney L. Guidry, Lola Guidry, and Andi Guidry.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Larry was born October 4, 1952 in Breaux Bridge. He was a member of the American Legion Post 133, Evangeline Shrine Club, Habibi Temple, Breaux Bridge Masonic Lodge 476, Crazy Wheels of Breaux Bridge, Cruizin' Cajun Country of New Iberia, and a Harley group. Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle, cruizin' the coast, camping, and fishing. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially spending time with his two granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley L. Waldmann and her husband, Blake; his granddaughters, Amya G. Waldmann and Ahna S. Waldmann; his brother, Randy LeBlanc and his companion, Gerrie Martin; and his godchildren, Armand J. Boyer, Brittney LeBlanc Guidry, and Sharon Pena.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest "Neg" and Ruth Lou Dore LeBlanc.
Pallbearers will be Armand J. Boyer, Blasien LeBlanc, Robert Copley, Michael Guidry, Shane "Beno" Guidry, and Charlie Begnaud.
Honorary pallbearers will be members Evangeline Shriner's Club, Habibi Temple, Breaux Bridge Masonic Lodge 476, Crazy Wheels of Breaux Bridge, Cruizin' Cajun Country of New Iberia, and a Harley group.
