Larry Joseph Lewis

Breaux Bridge - Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Larry Joseph Lewis, 65, who passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Larry was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved working outdoors - cleaning his yard and tending to the grass. Larry enjoyed spending Sundays with his family, watching football. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Larry was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sylvia Alexander Lewis; step-son, Dominic Martinez; sons, Mark Lewis and wife Mariah and Christopher Lewis; daughters, Bridget Lewis and fiancé Mike, and Shalana Crawford and fiancé Marcus; brothers, Herman Lewis and wife Virgie, and Bradley Lewis, Jr. and wife Jill; sisters, Louella Charles, LouVelma Abraham and Mary Belle Onlow; and grandchildren, Braedon Dural, Saylor Lewis, Kashton Lewis and Malaine Frederick. He was preceded in death by his father, Bradley Lewis, Sr.; mother, Gladys Reese Lewis; and brothers, Johnny Lewis and Melvin Lewis.
