Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Latanya Shanette Jackson, 29, who passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until the time of service on Saturday. Rev. Darren Benoit will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Latanya loved spending time with her family at family gatherings. She enjoyed being outside, listening to music, and riding in the car. Latanya will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Wanda Jackson Landry (Marco); father, Robert Sylvester, Jr. (Jeanette); bonus mom, Stephanie Harmon; brothers, Dominique Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Gerald Jackson, Damian Jackson, Cordarin Duhon and Trevor Lindon; sister, Letoria Jackson; maternal grandmother, Madeline Jackson; paternal grandmother, Pearly Sylvester; uncles, Ernest Jackson, Jr., Nathaniel Jackson, Jerome Batiste and Eric Jackson (Carol); and aunts, Sandra Davis and Kim Jackson. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ernest Jackson, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Robert Sylvester, Sr.; and uncle, David Sylvester. Pallbearers will be Dominique Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Gerald Jackson, Damian Jackson, Cordarin Duhon and Trevor Lindon. Honorary pallbearer will be De'Quan Malbrough.
