Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Laura Belle L. Tauzin, 86, who passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 am until time of service on Saturday.
A rosary will be prayed by Deacon Ken Soignier at 11:00 am on Saturday.
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Readers will be Dawn Johnson and Brodie Benoit.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Laura Belle lived her life for her family. In her earlier years, she helped her beloved husband of 64 years, run several businesses. Her greatest joy was cooking and spending time with her family. As a pastime, she enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing solitaire, Bingo, and going on casino trips with her sister and family members. Laura Belle will always be remembered for her loving heart and willingness to help anyone in need.
She is survived by her sons, Feron Tauzin (Lorrie), Todd Tauzin (Mel), and Matt Tauzin (Terri); daughters, Debbie Tauzin Benoit (Bobbie) and Tracy Tauzin; grandchildren, Jeb Johnson (Dawn), Britnie Bourque (Lannie), Rowdy Tauzin, Brodie Benoit (Corrie), Ramie Tauzin, Reid Tauzin, and Abby Robert (Daniel); great-grandchildren, Draven, Kaden, Gavin, Ann-Marie, Ava, Ella, Jed, Bella, Estelle, Aviree, Charli, Arlo, and Roy III; brothers, Lester Latiolais (Mary) and Toby Latiolais (Earline); and one sister, Peggy Hebert.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, J.C. Tauzin; father, Theobald Latiolais, Sr.; mother, Isabelle Guidry Latiolais; brothers, Allen Latiolais and Doyce Latiolais; and sisters, Dula Degetaire, Murley LeBlanc, Delta Brasseaux, and Earline Underwood.
Pallbearers will be Feron Tauzin, Todd Tauzin, Matt Tauzin, Jeb Johnson, Brodie Benoit, and Reid Tauzin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Latiolais and Toby Latiolais.
