VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10 :30 a.m. , on Monday, July 12, 2010 , at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge , for Laura Mae Celestine, 77, who passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 . Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge . Fr. James P. Fallon, will conduct the services. Reading the scriptures will be Dominque Johnson and Betty John. Miss Celestine loved helping others and it showed in all the volunteer work she did. She also attended mass daily. Survivors include her son, Ronald Batiste and his companion, Michelle; her daughter, Bernadine B. Noel and her husband, Joseph, all of Cecilia; her brother, Clarence Celestine and his wife, Dolores of Erath; her sister, Clara Demouchet of Breaux Bridge ; her grandchildren, Effy Noel, Joshua Noel, Rian Batiste and Rhoda Batiste; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Martha John Celestine. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Clarence Celestine, Corey Livings, Christopher Livings, Wilbert Demouchet, Michael John and Demetrius Noel. Pellerin Funeral Homes, Carver and Dauterive St. , Breaux Bridge , is in charge of arrangements.
