Breaux Bridge A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Laura Bell Harris Demouchet, 68, who passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. She is survived by her children, Bridget (Joseph Etienne) Calais, Faylisa (Smitty Broussard) Roberts, Talaska (Samantha) Demouchet, Tameca (Xavier Major) Demouchet, and Wilson Demouchet, Jr.; 16 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren; her companion, Joseph Journet; and her brother, Virgil Harris, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Harris and Theresa Batiste. Pallbearers will be Timothy Henry, Christian Thomas, Paul Parker, Meldrick Hayes, Reginald Brooks, and Loggis Perry.
