Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Laura A. LeBlanc, 64 , who died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at her residence.
Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

She loved to read and had a large collection of books. She also loved her soap opera's, which she would tape daily and watch at night.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph R.LeBlanc; her three children, John Randy LeBlanc and wife Rochelle, Joey Paul LeBlanc and his friend Monica, Cris Douet and her husband Leo, seven (7) grandchildren, Brad LeBlanc, Marcus Dumatrait, Cristal Dumatrait, Ashlee Dumatrait, Madison LeBlanc, Falyn LeBlanc, Killie LeBlanc; three (3) step grandchildren, Thorne Douet, Devin Douet, and Brad Duhon; one sister, Odette Babineaux and her husband Ernest, and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one (1) brother, Horace Allemand and one grandchild Baby LeBlanc.
The family wishes to thank Michael Cain, MD and his wonderful staff, Dr. J Kevin Duplechain and his wonderful staff, Bahman Daneshfar, MD and his wonderful staff, Dr. Debra Durham and her staff, and all the wonderful people of Hospice of Acadiana who took so much precious care and were all so concerned for her welfare. Their concern went well pass what was required of them to insure she received the best care possible. There will always be a place in our hearts for these wonderful people.
A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 8:30 AM until 10:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 6:00 AM until time of service.
Honored to serve, as pallbearers are Marcus Dumatrait, Brad LeBlanc, Devin Douet, Thorne Douet, Steven Allemand, and Mark LeBlanc.
Honorary pallbearers include Lester Broussard, Terry LeBlanc, Jr. Kenneth Allemand, James W. LeBlanc, Jr. Leo Douet, Jr.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Acadiana, in lieu of flowers, for the wonderful service provided in their time of need.
