Laura Chautin Marks

Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville for Laura Chautin Marks, 92, who passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Arnaudville from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday.

Laura’s family requests that visitors please wear Spring colors for her funeral service.

Pastor Joel Murrah will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Leo the Great Cemetery in Leonville.

Laura was an avid reader and especially loved reading her Bible and attending Bible study. She was an excellent gardener and enjoyed bird watching.  Laura loved meeting people and made many friends and lasting friendships throughout her life. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Milligan (Douglas); son, John Ronald Marks (Felicia); grandchildren, Kylie Marks, Kelsey Shaw (Ty) and McKinley Milligan; and sisters-in-law, Lenola Chautin, Eura Marks, and Frances Marks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Marks; parents, Alexander and Regina Badeaux Chautin; brothers, Alex Francis Chautin and John Leeton Chautin and his wife, Shirley; and sister, Marie (Fred) Allen.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Milligan, Gerald Marks, Jr., Rodney Kidder, Jason Domec, Kade Domec, and Matthew Leger.
