New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 24, 2015 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Laurie Rogers Baudoin, 52, who passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in New Iberia.
A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
Deacon Theo Landry will officiate.
Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
A native and lifelong resident of Iberia Parish, Laurie was born on November 6, 1962. She was a loving mother, wife, and granny. Her hobbies included gardening, fishing, and taking care of her pets. Lauries greatest joy was spoiling her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Baudoin of New Iberia; children, Raven Hebert and husband Cody of New Iberia, Rayward Dugas, Jr. and fiance' Chantel Blanchard. of New Iberia, Maureen Dugas and fiance' Jesse Deckard of Broussard, and Valerie Dugas of New Iberia; step sons, Jonathan Baudoin and wife Charlene of Homer, AK, Andrew Baudoin of New Iberia; mother, Mary Rogers of New Iberia, LA, brother, Jessie Rogers, Sr. of New Iberia, LA, grandchildren, Andrea Hebert, Cody Hebert, Jr., Hudson Deckard, Kage Blanchard, Kaden Dugas, Austin Dugas, Kaylee Blanchard, Seth Baudoin, and Ali Baudoin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Rogers; brother; Sonny Rogers, sister; Kitty Marie Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Rayward Dugas, Kelly Aucoin, Jesse Deckard, Cody Hebert, Cody Hebert Jr., Julius Hulin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hudson Deckard, Kage Blanchard, Kaden Dugas, Austin Dugas, Jonathan Baudoin, Andrew Baudoin, Jessie Rogers Sr., and Seth Baudoin.
