Lawrence Borel Jr.

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2005, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Lawrence Borel, Jr., 75, who died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at his residence in St. Martinville. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Survivors include his wife, Laura Borel; three sons, Terrell Borel and his wife, Glenda, Marty Borel and his wife, Angela, and Blair Borel and his wife, Jessica, all of Catahoula; four brothers, Pierre Borel, Septieme Borel, Joseph Borel, and Phillipe Borel, all of Catahoula; four sisters, Editte Theriot, Myone Bijeaux, both of Parks, Corinne Dugas and Mary Albert, both of Catahoula; four grandchildren, Tandy Miller, Tega Begnaud, Emery Borel and Jensie Borel; and one great grandchild, Tailey Begnaud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurent and Clara Theriot Borel; his brothers, Clovis and Marcel Borel; and his sisters, Olivia Borel and Elmire Borel. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. on Friday and continue until time of service on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
