Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Lawrence "Ba Ba" Clement, 69, who passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012. Rev. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Mass. Scriptures will be read by Teya Morale and Kristle Clement. Gift bearers will be Tawanna and Cenadie Morale. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Clement, better known as "Ba Ba" to his family and friends, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, and visiting with his neighbors. In his free time he also enjoyed picking and selling aluminum. "Ba Ba" was a gentle soul who never wronged anyone and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Joseph Clement; 3 brothers, Carol Clement and his companion, Nadine McBride, George Clement Jr. and his wife, Donna, and Donald Clement and his wife, Cordelia; 4 sisters, Lucy Alexandre, Joyce Davis and her husband, Harry, Laura Williams and her husband, Ernest Wayne, and Shirley Morale; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, George Clement, Sr.; his mother, Hilda Alexander Clement; and 2 brothers, Joseph and Junius Clement. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 am. Pallbearers will be Ronald Morale Jr., Donald Clement Jr., Harry Davis Jr., George Clement, II, Anthony Clement, and Bryson Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Javian Rodriguez, Glen George Robertson, Hilton Zenon Jr., and Harold Robertson.
