Lawrence Paul Plaisance

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Lawrence Mignon Plaisance, 87, who passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette. Rev. Bob Woods will officiate. Mr. Plaisance enjoyed raising birds as a hobby. He worked for Vallace Begnaud for 40 years. Survivors include his son, Michael Plaisance of Lafayette, his daughters, Debra Domingue and Verna Arceneaux, both of Breaux Bridge and Vickie Plaisance of Lafayette; his sister, Lona Chauvin (Jimmy) of Abbeville; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Edmae Touchet Plaisance Landry; his second wife, Amy Domingue Plaisance; his parents, Polite and Maelynn Plaisance; his daughter, Judy Dwyer; his grandson, Tommy Plaisance and his son-in-law, Carroll Arceneaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Pallbearers will be Bryan Plaisance, Jason Arceneaux, Anthony Comeaux, Josh Arceneaux, Jeremy Domingue and Wilson Domingue. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
