St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2006, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Lawrence Thomas Pritchard, 69, who died Monday, December 25, 2006 at his residence.
Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Mr. Pritchard was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the U.S. Army. ?He was a member of the V.F.W., where he served as Chaplain, the American Legion, Woodmen of the World, and the first charter of the St. Martinville Jaycees. ?He assisted the priests at the masses at the nursing home.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Ann Inzerella Pritchard of St. Martinville; his son, Michael Anthony Pritchard of St. Martinville; his daughters, Hollie P. Domingue and her husband, Scott of Denton, TX, Lana P. Bienvenu and her husband, James of Little Rock, AR; his brothers, Woody Pritchard of Kettering, OH, Robert Pritchard of Riverview, FL, Thomas Pritchard of Lafayette, Philip Pritchard of Gretna, Clarence Pritchard of Bolinger Brook, IL; and Paul Pritchard of Broussard; his sister, Dorothy Ann P. Broussard of St. Martinville; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Harold Pritchard and Gertrude Thomas Pritchard.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. till 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening.
