New Iberia - Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Leatrice Bouton Landry, 77, who died on Thursday, October 4, 2012, in Houston. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Born on April 2, 1935, Ms. Landry was a native and lifelong resident of New Iberia. She enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Donald Romero and wife Shirley of New Iberia, Durke Romero and wife Karen of New Iberia, Mark Romero and wife Kelley of St. Joseph, David Romero and wife Janet of New Iberia, Shane Palmer of New Iberia; daughters, Wanda Romero of Waveland, MS, Pam Romero and husband Jeffery Crochet of New Iberia; brother, Melvin Bouton of New Iberia; sister, Gale Cain of New Iberia; 20 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roland Romero, and Robert Palmer; parents, Louis and Electa Legnon Bouton; brothers, Calvin Bouton, and Peter Bouton; sisters, Doris Boudreaux, and Lois Delahoussaye. Pallbearers will be Donald Romero, Durke Romero, Mark Romero, David Romero, Shane Palmer, Jeffery Crochet, and Bryson Letner.
