Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Lee Anna L. Angelle, 74, who passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Opelousas General Hospital.The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Arnaudville from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Thursday and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Thursday.Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Ramona Schexnayder and Lee McMillan. Gift Bearers will be Brandon Angelle and Wiladene Calais. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Lee Anna was a loving and devoted mother and sister. She loved playing Pokeno, cards, having a good cup of coffee, and visiting with family and friends. Lee Anna was always available to sew things when anyone needed. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her son, Brandon Joseph Angelle; brothers, John C. LeJeune, Jr. (Linda), Eugene LeJeune, Leo LeJeune, Jr. (Sandra) and Steven LeJeune (Priscilla); sisters, Lee McMillan (George), Wiladene Calais (Ernie), and Ramona Schexnayder (Robert); godchildren, Ramona, Melissa Latiolais, and Paxton and Jace Calais; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren J. Angelle; parents, Leo LeJeune, Sr. and Edith Quebedeaux LeJeune; sisters, Beverly LeJeune and Nell LeJeune; maternal grandparents, David and Alice Quebedeaux; and paternal grandparents, Leopha and Edolia LeJeune. Pallbearers will be her nephews: Jordan Schexnayder, Jonah Schexnayder, Jeremy LeJeune, Christopher LeJeune, Paxton Calais, Jamie Calais, and Sidney LeJeune.The family wishes to thank Dr. Tate, Dr. Vazquez, Dr. Raza, Dr. Ballanco and the 3rd floor PCU and ICU nurses and staff for the excellent care given to Lee Anna during her stay.
