Lee Roy Dupuis

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 15, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Lee Roy Dupuis, 80, who died Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Dupuis was a disabled veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 133 in Breaux Bridge. He served as an officer of that organization for a number of years. He was a member of the St. Bernard Ushers' Society, Eucharistic Minister of St. Bernard Church and the Holy Name Society. He served as ward constable for 8 years and as a member of the St. Martin Parish Police Jury for 4 years. He was a retired employee of the St. Martin Parish School Board. Survivors include his wife, Euline F. Dupuis of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Cindy Dupuis of Breaux Bridge and his sister, Berdie Guidry of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dupuis and his brothers, Percy, Gussie and George Dupuis. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 pm ~ 10:00 pm Friday, July 14, 2006 and continue at 7:00 am Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Leland "L.J." LeBlanc, Ricky Calais, Keith Angelle, Gill Frederick, Burt Guidry and Randy LeBlanc. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
