LeeRoy 'T-Neg' "T-Neg" Blanchard

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for LeeRoy "T-Neg" Blanchard, 79, who passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at St. Martin Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Blanchard was on born on June 18, 1937. He was one of six children, born to Abel and Edna Guidry Blanchard. He enjoyed raising cattle, making hay, and most all, just being outdoors. "T-Neg" loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He will greatly be missed. He is survived by his sons, Roy Blanchard and wife Beth, Gary Blanchard and wife Sally, and Ricky Blanchard; daughters, Melissa Noel and husband James, Cindy Guidry and husband Eric, Cecile Thibodeaux and husband Karl, and Sandra Hebert and husband Danny; brothers, Carol Blanchard, Howard Blanchard, and Whitney Blanchard and wife Faye; his companion, Georgie Robin and her family; 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Betty Blanchard; second wife, Rita Blanchard; and brothers, Abel James Blanchard, Leland Blanchard, and Harris "Chawee" Guidry. Pallbearers will be Hunter Blanchard, Dusty Albert, Garret Blanchard, Dwarren Olivier, Teddy Thibodeaux, and Blake LeVasseur.
