Arnaudville - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville, for Leland Oliver Arnaud, 5 months, who passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at Women's & Children's Hospital. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 12:00 noon on Monday, October 13, 2015 until time of Funeral Service on Tuesday. Brother Donnie Venable will officiate at the funeral service. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Leland enjoyed playing with his feet, making people laugh, pulling his sisters hair, playing with his cat, and having conversations with his stuffed dog and worm. He was known to the family as "selfie king" and used his brothers as a burp rag. Leland's morning rituals with Dad was to let Mom sleep, and sit outside in the sun while having coffee with Dad. Three very important things that the family expressed about infant Leland were; taking a naps with his dog, Miller, showing off his first two teeth, and his Mohawk hair style that he rocked. He is survived by his parents, Jimmy Antoine Arnaud, II and Penny Lane Guidry, of Arnaudville; his brothers, Brodie Clay, Owen M.J., Bailey Dwayne, and Donavan Sean; sisters, Lainie A.E. and Alyssa M.C.; maternal grandparents, Kimberly Kay Hileman and husband Dennis of Arnaudville and Thomas Glenn Guidry and wife Kathleen of Iota; paternal grandparents, Alice Marie Arnaud and Jimmy Arnaud, Sr. of Arnaudville; maternal great grandmother, Hazel Guidry of Basile; paternal great grandfather, Euell Sudduth of Bastrop; godmother, Ashley Ann Mouton of Breaux Bridge; and godfather, Snapper Joseph Bearb of Carencro. He was preceded in death by maternal great grandfather, Arista Guidry; paternal great grandfather Leland Joseph Arnaud; maternal great grandmother, Daisy Roberta Griese; paternal great grandmothers, Joy Gardner and Mary Lopez Arnaud; and his cousin, Julian Ray Smith.
