Lelia Johnson Latiolais

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, January 21, 2010, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Lelia Claire Johnson Latiolais, 57, who passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at her residence. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the funeral service. Lelia loved cooking and baking, as well as gardening, and always enjoyed going on trips to the casino. She was always willing to help anyone in need - she will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Lee J. Latiolais, Jr., of Catahoula; two sons, Scottie L. Latiolais and his companion, Sonya Borel, and her children, Alyssa and Bailey, and Eugene L. Latiolais and his wife, Cari, all of St. Martinville; her mother, Bronislawa "Danny" Johnson, of Catahoula; and two brothers, Harry Johnson, of Catahoula, and Wilson "Tee" Johnson, of New Iberia. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Johnson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Dion Hall from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7p.m. on Wednesday. Pellerin Funeral Home, 337.332.2111, is in charge of arrangements.
