Lena Eve Bienvenu

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Lena Eve Doningues Bienvenu, 97, who passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Dauterive Hospital in New Iberia. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Fr. Austin Leger, pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include one son, Wilmer ""Billy"" Bienvenu, Jr., and his wife, Billie, of Lafayette; two daughters, Marion B. Robicheaux, of Orange, TX, and Elle B. LeBlanc and her husband, Mike, of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gaston and Ella Bourg Domingues; and her husband, Wilmer Bienvenu, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2007. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
