Lena Schexnailder Hollier

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon, Thursday, May 25, 2006, at St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Lena Schexnailder Hollier, 79, who died Monday, May 22, 2006 at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will be in St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, and Fr. Gary Schexnailder will conduct the funeral services. ?Readers will be Tyra Darby and Scotty Touchette and the gift bearers will be Paige Hollier and Taylor Conrad. ?Music will be provided by Patrick Menard, vocalist, accompanied by Beth Hebert on the organ; musical selections will include ""A Mother's Love"", ""Ave Maria"", ""Isiah 49"", ""I Can Only Imagine"", and ""You Raise Me Up"". Mrs. Hollier was a member of the St. Francis Regis Catholic Church Altar Society and The Rosary Group of Arnaudville. ?She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Bradley Hollier of Arnaudville; her sons, Brad Hollier and his wife, Cynthia of Arnaudville, and Chris Hollier and his wife, Christie M. of Parks; her daughters, Diana Jimenez and her husband, Jose of Bellaire, TX, Nancy Granger and her husband, Dr. Glynn Granger of Opelousas, Mona Conrad, and her husband, Dr. Steve Conrad of Shreveport, and Karen Touchette and her husband, Michael of Lafayette; her brother, Joseph Schexnailder, Jr. of Arnaudville; her sister, Joyce Zerangue of Creswell, OR; twelve grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Clara Stelly Schexnailder. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Brad Hollier, Chris Hollier, Michael Touchette, Ray Jimenez, David Conrad, and Mitch Castille. Honorary pallbearers will be Omar Jimenez and Matt Touchette. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
