Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, February 18, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Lennis Joseph Boudreaux, 64, who passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Hospital, in Houston, TX.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Boudreaux was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.
Survivors include wife, Judith Leary Boudreaux of Dayton, TX; his mother, Lucille Landry Boudreaux, of Breaux Bridge; two sons, L. J. Boudreaux and wife, Angie, of Breaux Bridge, and Hardy Boudreaux, of Lafayette; two step sons, Richard and James Berkshire, both of Arkansas; three step daughters, Cathy Shand, of Wimberly, TX, April White, of Dayton, TX, Desiree Hardy, of Cecilia; four brothers, Calvin James and wife, Peggy, Lester Allen and wife, Gail, all of Breaux Bridge, Joe Boudreaux, Jr. and wife, Gwen, of New Iberia, and Michael Boudreaux and wife, Melione, of Lafayette; four sisters, Linda Bourque and husband, Kent, ?Judy Boudreaux, Rachel Patin and husband, Randy, all of Breaux Bridge, and Roxanne ""Pookie"" Schexnayder and husband, Ray, of Arnaudville; two grandchildren, Chantel and Jeau Boudreaux; nine step grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mertille ""Joe"" Boudreaux, Sr.; and a sister, Dolores Boudreaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Lester Boudreaux, Mike Boudreaux, L. J. Boudreaux, Hardy Boudreaux, Joe Boudreaux, Chad Huval, Kent Bourque, and Preston Meche.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
