Lennis Joseph Landry

Breaux Bridge - A private memorial service will be held at a later date for Lennis J. Landry, 74, who passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2009 in Breaux Bridge. Lennis enjoyed raising his chickens and gardening; often providing his family and friends with many vegetables throughout the year. An avid outdoorsman, he also loved to fish and hunt. The times that Lennis treasured most, were those spent with his wife and family. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 wonderful years, Sue Melancon Landry, of Breaux Bridge; two daughters, Patty LeBlanc and her husband, Jamie, and Priscilla Landry, all of Breaux Bridge; two brothers, Jean Roy Landry and his wife, Diane, of Henderson, and Lawrence Paul Landry and his companion, Cherie, of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Lorraine Fitch and her husband, Alvin, and Verna Laviolette and her husband, Alvon, of Catahoula; and one grandson, Drake Joseph LeBlanc, of Breaux Bridge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristille and Gladys Theriot Landry; and his son, Shane Paul Landry. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
