St.Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Friday, November 23, 2012, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Leona Marie Dor, 54, who passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. on Thursday and continue until 9:30 am on Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Fr. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by T.J. Woolsey and Benji Bost. Gift Bearers will be her grandchildren, her godchild,Chelsea Dor, and her niece, Alayna Dor. Entombment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Leona enjoyed gardening, going camping, listening to music, and eating out. Her most treasured times were those spent with her family and she especially loved spoiling her grandchildren. Survivors include her parents, Jules and Anna M. Schexnayder Dor of St. Martinville ; her fianc, Ricky Stelly of St. Martinville; two daughters, Leanne (Benji) Bost of New Iberia, and Lauren (T.J.) Woolsey of St. Martinville, and their father, Brady Hebert; her step daughters, Morgan (Blake) Segura of Coteau and Katie Stelly of Breaux Bridge; four brothers, Darren (Cathy) Dor , Charles (Elaine) Dor , Clayton (Linda) Dor , and Brian (Wendy) Dor , all of St. Martinville; and five grandchildren, Logan and Liam Bost, and Landyn, Gracie, and Noah Woolsey. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dor , Sr. (Leona Albert); and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Odeonce Schexnayder (Fadora Menard). Pallbearers will be Logan Bost, Chase Dor , Jacob Dor , Coby Dor , Caleb Dor , and Casey Dor . Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Dor , Chandler Dor , Kevin Delahoussaye, and Calvin Serrette.
