Leonard Joseph Gautreaux Jr.

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Leonard Joseph Gautreaux, Jr., 60, who died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Paul Broussard will conduct the funeral service. ?Readers will be Allen Stelly and Becky LeBlanc and the gift bearers will be Natalie Gautreaux, Marsha Billiot and Theresa Breaux. Mr. Gautreaux served in the U.S. Army National Guard and was a member of the United Transportation Union. Survivors include his wife, Bernice T. Gautreaux of Cecilia; his son, Shawn Jude Gautreaux of Cecilia; his daughter, Tanisha Gautreaux Everette, and her husband, Shawn of Sunset; his brother, Greg Gautreaux of Arnaudville; his sister, Martha Knott of Breaux Bridge; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Madeline Everette, both of Sunset, and Hannah Gautreaux of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard J. Gautreaux, Sr. and Doris Peltier Gautreaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday evening. Pallbearers will be Shawn Gautreaux, Greg Gautreaux, Shawn Everette, Kenneth Tauzin, Leroy Taylor, and Chad Breaux. Honorary pallbearers will be George Touchet, Ted Broussard, and James Touchet. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
