Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 29, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Leroy Alexander, Sr., 77, who passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Fr. James Fallon will conduct the services. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Oliver Alexander (Diane), of Arnaudville, Ernest Alexander (Wanda), of Breaux Bridge, Leroy Alexander, Jr. of Breaux Bridge, and Donald Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his daughters, Linda Alexander of Breaux Bridge, Debora Adam (Melvin) of Jennings, Shirley Deon Alexander of Breaux Bridge, and Keisha of Alabama; his brother, Clifton Alexander of Alabama; his sister, Eloise Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren; and his great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noway and Pricella Jones Alexander; his brother, Harry Alexander; his sisters, Mildred Zeno and Margerie Alexander; and his granddaughter, Keisha Alexander. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
