Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, September 12, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Leroy Celestine, 73, who passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008 at St. Agnes Nursing Home in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Celestine treasured the time he was able to spend with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, Leroy Alexander of Breaux Bridge and Jerry Alexander of Las Vegas; his daughters, Judith Alexander and Sarah Sylvester both of Breaux Bridge; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Armance Thibodeaux Celestine; his son, Michael Sylvester; his brother, Harold Celestine and his sister, Lorna Moore. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 416 Dauterive St., is in charge of arrangements.
