Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Leroy Joseph Davis, Sr., 63, who passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Davis proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Survivors include his sons, Anthony Davis and Leroy Davis, Jr.; his brother, Frank Davis, Jr. and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Davis; his parents, Frank Davis, Sr. and Hilda Benoit Davis; his grandson, Khane James and his sister-in-law, Mildred Noel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 am until ;10 am on Wednesday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, Carver and Dauterive, is in charge of arrangements.
