Lester Demouchet

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Lester Joseph Demouchet, 64, who died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at his residence. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Demouchet worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Houston and was an assistant manager at Park Plaza Apartment Complex in Houston. Survivors include his companion Rubie Dixon of Houston, TX; his daughters, Bridgett Ford and her husband, Anthony of Marksville and Tracie Ford of Houston, TX; his brother, James Demouchet and his wife, Eva of Breaux Bridge; his sisters, Agnes Batiste, Sophie Shy, Theresa Demouchet and Linda Ledet and her husband, Will, all of Breaux Bridge, and Clara Soularie and her husband, Evariste of Houston, TX; and his five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Mary Williams Demouchet; his son-in-law, Lloyd Ford; his brothers, Walter and Wilfred Demouchet and Phillip Demouchet, Sr.; and his sister, Mable Demouchet. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm ~ 10:00 pm Tuesday, January 2, 2007 and continue at 7:00 am Wednesday, January 3, 2007 until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Akeem Demouchet, Kent Demouchet, Bradley T. Ledet, Clifton Demouchet, McKinley Demouchet, Sr., and Ernest Sylvester. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Charles, Wilbert Batiste, Anthony Ford, Clifton Soulaire, James Demouchet, Tyrone Celestine, Adam Field and Tyler Shy. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
