Lester Paul White

New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Trinity Baptist Church, 1100 Bank Ave, in New Iberia for Lester Paul White, 65, who passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018, in Lafayette. Private interment will be at a later date. A longtime resident of New Iberia, Lester was born on November 15, 1952 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to Joe and Evelyn Jackson White, and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a crazy loud sweet eating turquoise jewelry wearing, junk loving cowboy movie watching man, who was loved by everyone. Lester spent his final days tending to his garden and his yard art at the High Chaparral. He will be missed liked hell. Survivors include his daughter, Malaina Mobley of Round Rock, Texas; mother, Evelyn White of New Iberia; sisters, Connie Louviere of New Iberia, and Sherry Jeske of New Iberia; brothers, Donnie White and wife Kathi of New Iberia, Gary White of Monroe, and Jimmy White of New Iberia; grandchildren, Shaien White, and Evelyn Mobley.
