Lila "Granny" Touchet

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Lila "Granny" Touchet, 60, who passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Lafayette General Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm on Thursday.

A rosary will be prayed at 1:00 pm on Thursday.

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service.

Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.

Lila was born December 13, 1960. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino and visiting with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lila will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Breaux; son, Chad Breaux; grandchildren, Leagan Breaux (Omar Dennaoui), Sydney Breaux, Jacob Breaux, Taylan Vining, and Kalee Breaux; special little girl, Embry Freemin; grand dogs, Buffy, Sky, and Alee; brother, Roderick Touchet Sr. (Vereska); nephews, Roderick Touchet Jr. (April) and Joshua Touchet; nieces, Christina Huval (Chuck) and Sara Broussard (Brent).

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Lou Poirier Touchet.

Pallbearers will be Chad Breaux, Jacob Breaux, Omar Dennaoui, Roderick Touchet, Jr., Joshua Touchet, and TJ Poirier.
